Evening showers

Cool waters
Drench the earth

A feast
Of sound

Claps of thunder
Loud and foreboding

Lightning sizzles
Glowing hot

I listen
Transfixed

Rain drops
Tap at my window

A fresh scent
Rebirth

Seeds will grow
Life moves on

The symphony
Delights my ears

Time slows
Earth is replenished

We will partake
In living waters
